1993: Licensed BPM technology from Columbia University

1994: Released first version of BeamPROP

1997: Licensed system tool technology from UCSB and UIUC

1998: Released Optical system simulation tool, LinkSIM

1999: Released FullWAVE, first FDTD Tool for Nanophotonic devices including Photonic Bandgap Crystal
Licensed active device software technology from UIUC
Licensed Mini-LaserII from UIUC as the base for active device simulator

2000: Awarded NIST ATP named PCAD with consortium members Telcordia, SAIC, Agilent, Nortel, JDS Uniphase (SDL), Columbia University and others.

2001: RSoft Inc., network software provider NDTI, merged to form RSoft Design Group

2002: Released BandSOLVE, GratingMOD, LaserMOD, MetroWAND and SWAT
RSoft Design Group opens office In Japan, RSoft Design Group Japan

2003: RSoft Acquires Artis Ltd, and adds OptSim and Artifex to list of tools
RSoft Design Group opens office in UK, RSoft Design UK
